Prior to joining Alpha-Pacific, White was Senior Vice President at FRM in Tokyo and New York from 2000 to 2004, where he ran the Japanese and Asian equity long-short fund portfolios, and was Risk Manager for the firm's equity products. From 1998 to 2000 he was Manager of non-yen equity sales at Schroder Securities Japan, focusing on the development quantitative portfolio analysis and trading solutions for Japanese institutional clients. Prior to that, he was an Institutional Broker/Dealer for Cazenove & Co. in London and Tokyo as part of the overseas equity sales/research team. He holds an LLb in Law and Japanese from Cardiff University, U.K., and is fluent in Japanese.

Tanaka joined Bamboo Capital in January 2001, prior to which she spent four months at Goldman Sachs in Tokyo in executive administration and 11 years at Jardine Fleming Securities Tokyo as a senior research assistant.  She is a graduate of the International Christian University, Tokyo.

Prior to joining in January 2006, Choi was head of IR at Kookmin Bank Korea for 3 years, and ranked #1 for IR in Asian financials.  Prior to Kookmin Bank he was CIO of eKorea, a Korean venture capital firm, before which he was a senior analyst at Credit Lyonnais Securities.  From 1995 to 2000 he was an M&A Investment Banker at Bankers Trust (Deutsche Bank) in Korea, and was previously a bond trading assistant at Daiwa Securities America (New York).  Choi holds a B.A. in Economics from State University of New York and an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University.

Prior to joining Elmwood Advisors in July 2006, Ong was a Product Support Specialist at UBS AG Wealth Management in Singapore, where he was responsible for construction and maintenance of new and existing portfolios.  He was previously a member of the Agency Management Team at Citibank N.A. in Singapore.  He holds a dual major in Finance and Information Systems from University of New South Wales, Australia.
